Procession with Palms, but the mood
will change quickly as we turn our
focus to the Passion of our Lord
according to St. Luke. Holy Communion will be celebrated at both services.
March 29 - Holy Monday (7:30PM) -- Service of the Word
March 30 - Holy Tuesday (7:30PM) -- Service of the Word
March 31 - Holy Wednesday (7:30PM) -- Service of the Word
April 1 - Maundy Thursday
Noon -- An abbreviated, spoken service of Confession and Forgiveness (with Individual Absolution), Holy Communion
7:30PM -- The full choral service of Confession and Forgiveness (with Individual Absolution), Holy Communion
April 2 - Good Friday
Noon -- A Service of the Word, focusing on the Stations of the Cross
7:30PM -- A service focusing on our Lord's Passion according to St. John, the Adoration of the Cross, the Solemn Reproaches, and with the participation of our Adult Choir
April 3 -- Holy Saturday/The Easter Vigil (9:00PM)
A service of light, readings, Affirmation of Baptism and Holy Communion
April 4 -- Easter Day (NOTE: There are three services this day. Sunday School resumes the following week)
8:00AM -- Holy Communion (abbreviated service)
9:15AM -- Holy Communion (abbreviated service)
10:30AM -- The full choral service of Holy Communion, with both the Handbell and the Adult Choirs participating
