 Established
in 1951, Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church is located on the hill
in Linglestown, Pennsylvania (a suburb of Harrisburg) and is affiliated
with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and the Lower Susquehanna
Synod of the ELCA. Worship
Worship Services
are held Sundays at 8:00 AM, 9:30 AM, and 11:00 AM. In the summer,
between Memorial Day and Labor Day, only two services are held
-- at 8:30 AM and 10:00 AM.
Holy Communion is celebrated
at all services.
A supervised nursery is
provided during worship at 9:30 and 11:00 (10:00 AM only in Summer).
Sunday Church School is
held at 9:30 AM for Pre-K through 6th Grade during the school
year and at 10:00 AM during the summer months.
The church is wheelchair
accessible. An elevator in the entranceway provides access
to all levels of the church. The church is air-conditioned to provide
a comfortable environment during the warm summer months and plenty
of off-street parking is available.
